The setup.
- Mark the high and low of the first 15 or 30 minutes after a session opens.
- Enter on a break above the high or below the low.
- Place the stop at the opposite side or the midpoint of the range.
Where it works.
ORB is popular on NAS100 and US30 at the New York cash open, and on GBP and EUR pairs at the London open.
Filters.
- Skip days with major news shortly after the open.
- Avoid very wide ranges where the stop would be too large.
- Take one or two attempts per day, not unlimited retries.
