Prop Firm Payout Rules Explained: When and How You Actually Get Paid

The payout section is where most prop firm websites get vague. Here is the plain version of how it works at MixFunded, and what to check at any firm before you buy.

When payouts run

MixFunded pays every Monday, settled in USDT on the TRC-20 network. Requests submitted before the Monday run are processed in that run; anything later rolls into the next one.

What you need before requesting

  • The account must be in a funded state
  • A minimum of 3 trading days on the account
  • A minimum withdrawal of $50

Those three conditions exist to stop one lucky session being cashed out as if it were a track record.

Payouts are based on live balance

A payout is calculated on the account's live balance at processing time, not on a screenshot from Friday. If the account gives profit back before the run, the payable amount moves with it. Requesting a payout does not guarantee the account is frozen, and an account that breaches its rules forfeits any pending payout.

What to ask any prop firm

  1. Is there a published record of past payouts, or just testimonials?
  2. What is the minimum withdrawal, and is there a fee?
  3. What happens to a pending payout if the account breaches afterwards?
  4. Which network and asset are used for settlement?

Why on-chain settlement matters

A screenshot can be edited. A TRC-20 transaction hash cannot. Every MixFunded payout is published to a public ledger with its transaction ID, which anyone can verify on a block explorer. Since December 2024 we have paid out £96,500+.

That is the whole argument for on-chain: it makes the claim checkable instead of impressive.
