Which prop firm is actually the cheapest?

Quick answer

The lowest entry price on MixFunded is $5 for a $50,000 Pay After Passing evaluation — about $0.10 per $1,000 of funded capital, with the $150 activation fee charged only if you pass. Sticker price alone is a bad comparison; cost per $1,000 of funding plus any post-pass fee is the number that decides which firm is really cheapest.

Cost per $1,000 of funded capital.

This is the only price comparison that survives contact with reality. Divide the entry fee by the account size in thousands. A $339 instant account on $10,000 costs $33.90 per $1,000 — over three hundred times the cost of the $5 door on a $50,000 evaluation. You are buying different things, but the number tells you exactly what the convenience costs.

The four fees that make a "cheap" firm expensive.

When you price a firm against us, check for all four before you decide anything. Most of the gap between advertised and real cost hides in the last three.

  • Entry fee — the number on the checkout page.
  • Activation fee — charged after a pass. Ours is $150 on Pay After Passing and $0 on every other program.
  • Reset fee — what a second attempt costs after a breach.
  • Withdrawal cost — network fees and minimums. Ours settle in USDT on TRC-20 with a $50 minimum.

Cheap only counts if the firm pays.

A $5 evaluation from a firm that never sends a reward is infinitely expensive. That is why every MixFunded reward is published with its blockchain transaction ID on /ledger — you can open each one on a block explorer and confirm the amount and date yourself, without taking a marketing claim on trust. £96,500+ has gone to traders since December 2024.

So which should you buy?

If minimising cash at risk is the goal, Pay After Passing at $5 is the cheapest possible test of a strategy — you only pay properly once you have proven you can pass. If you want the wider 5% / 10% drawdown band and no second charge, a 1-Step evaluation is better value overall. If you want to skip the target entirely, an Instant account is the most expensive per $1,000 and that premium is what you are paying for.

Model it against your own risk plan with the drawdown simulator first.
