Why the platform matters more than the marketing.
Switching platforms costs you more than a weekend of learning. Your edge lives in the tools you have already tuned — the indicator stack, the templates, the EA you have forward-tested for months. A firm that forces you onto a proprietary platform is asking you to rebuild all of that while trading their money under their drawdown rules.
MixFunded runs on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, the two platforms most retail traders already know. Log in with the credentials you are sent and your existing setup works.
EAs are allowed. Properly.
Expert advisors are permitted on MixFunded programs. Your EA trades under the same drawdown limits as manual trading — 5% daily and 10% maximum on the 2-Step, 3% daily and 8% maximum on Pay After Passing, 3% daily and 6% static on Instant Funded. What is not allowed is software designed to exploit the evaluation itself rather than trade the market.
News trading, no blackout windows.
Some firms let you trade news during the evaluation and restrict it the moment you are funded. MixFunded allows news trading on every program, evaluation or funded, with no blackout windows. If your strategy is built around economic releases, it stays legal after you pass.
What you can trade.
FX pairs, metals, indices, crypto and oil — the full list is on the symbols page. Evaluations have no time limit, so you can wait for your setups instead of forcing trades against a deadline.
