Prop firm profit split, explained properly

Quick answer

A profit split is the share of the profit you generate that you keep. MixFunded pays 80/20 in your favour on 1-Step, 2-Step and Pay After Passing funded accounts from the first reward; Instant Funded starts at 60/40 and scales to 80/20 after three rewards. $5,000 of profit at 80/20 pays you $4,000, settled in USDT (TRC-20) on the next Monday run and published on-chain.

What 80/20 pays on real numbers.

The split applies to profit above your starting balance, not to the account capital. Here is what a single reward looks like at various account sizes and returns, at an 80/20 split.

Account sizeReturnProfit generatedYour reward (80%)
$10,0005%$500$400
$25,0005%$1,250$1,000
$50,0006%$3,000$2,400
$100,0006%$6,000$4,800
$200,0004%$8,000$6,400

Illustrative arithmetic, not a projection of results. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

Why a 90% headline can pay less than 80%.

Three things sit between a headline split and your bank: the cadence, the conditions, and the rail. A 90% split paid monthly, unlocked only after several consecutive profitable months, with a bank transfer that takes a week and charges a fee, is worth less than 80% paid every Monday in stablecoin with a $50 minimum. Compare the whole chain, not the percentage.

  • Cadence โ€” how often you can actually request. Ours is weekly, every Monday.
  • Eligibility โ€” minimum trading days and minimum reward size. Ours: 3 trading days, $50.
  • Conditions on the split โ€” scaling plans, raised targets, consistency caps. Ours: none on standard programs.
  • Rail โ€” how the money moves. Ours: USDT on TRC-20, low network fee, published TXID.

The split only counts if the reward arrives.

A generous split from a firm that never sends money is worth zero. This is why every MixFunded reward is published with its blockchain transaction ID on the public payout ledger โ€” you can open any row on a block explorer and confirm the amount and the date. The transparency report aggregates the same on-chain data, and the leaderboard ranks traders by verified rewards rather than screenshots.

How the Instant Funded scale works.

Instant Funded accounts skip the profit target, so the split starts lower: 60/40 in your favour, moving to 80/20 after your third reward. If you would rather have 80/20 from the first reward, take the $5 Pay After Passing route or a standard evaluation instead.
