The three building blocks.

• Market structure: higher highs and lows, or lower highs and lows.
• Key levels: support, resistance, and supply/demand zones.
• Candles: rejection wicks, engulfing bars and inside bars at those levels.

A simple setup to test.

• Trend on the 4-hour chart is up.
• Price pulls back into a prior resistance-turned-support zone.
• A bullish engulfing candle forms on the 1-hour chart.
• Stop below the zone, target the last high; skip if under 1:2.
