FAQ · Pricing
How much does a prop firm challenge cost?
Prop firm challenge prices typically range from roughly $40 to several hundred dollars, scaling with account size and program type. MixFunded's standard 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations start from $45 for a $10,000 account up to $299 for $100,000, while its Pay After Passing (PAPP) model lets you enter a $50,000 evaluation for just $5, with a $150 activation fee charged only after you pass.
What drives the price.
Two variables set a challenge's price: the simulated account size you're evaluating for, and the program model. Bigger accounts cost more to enter because they carry more payout exposure for the firm once funded. The model matters too — a low-friction entry hook like Pay After Passing prices very differently from a premium skip-the-evaluation route.
MixFunded pricing by program.
Standard 1-Step and 2-Step evaluations run from $45 ($10,000 account) to $299 ($100,000 account), with $95 and $175 tiers at $25,000 and $50,000 respectively. Pay After Passing (PAPP) costs just $5 to enter a $50,000 evaluation, with a $150 activation fee charged only once you pass. Instant Funded accounts skip the evaluation and cost more upfront since there's no profit target to clear first. See live pricing for every tier on /programs.
Why the $5 entry works.
Pay After Passing separates the low-friction entry cost from the real cost of funding. You pay $5 to start trading the $50,000 evaluation under the same 3% daily / 8% max drawdown rules as everyone else. If you pass, the $150 activation fee funds your live-simulated account and unlocks the 80/20 profit split (scaling to 90/10 after three consistent payouts). If you fail, that fee is never charged.
