The short answer
There is no fixed answer, because there is no deadline. On MixFunded evaluations there is no time limit — you can take a week or six months and nothing expires. In practice, traders who pass usually do it in two to six weeks of normal trading.
What decides the length is simple arithmetic: the profit target divided by how much you make per trading day, plus any minimum trading days on your program.
The three things that set the clock
1. Your profit target. A one-step evaluation asks for a single target. A two-step asks for a smaller target twice. The smaller the target, the shorter the run — but the same risk rules apply either way.
2. Your daily return. A trader averaging 0.5% a day reaches an 8% target in roughly 16 trading days, or about three weeks. A trader averaging 2% a day gets there in four days — and usually breaks a drawdown rule on the way, because 2% days come from size that also produces 2% losses.
3. Minimum trading days. Where a program has one, it is a floor, not a ceiling. Hitting the target on day two does not end the evaluation early.
Why rushing is the most common reason people fail
The rules that end evaluations are the 4% daily drawdown and 8% maximum drawdown on standard programs (3% and 8% on Pay After Passing). Both are measured on equity, so open trades count. A trader who doubles size to finish a week early is not buying speed — they are moving the daily drawdown from "unlikely" to "one bad hour".
Read the full rulebook before you plan your pace, and surviving the daily drawdown if that limit is what keeps ending your accounts.
A realistic schedule
| Average day | Trading days to 8% | Calendar time |
|---|---|---|
| 0.25% | ~32 | ~6-7 weeks |
| 0.5% | ~16 | ~3 weeks |
| 1% | ~8 | ~2 weeks |
Those are compounding-free rough numbers, and they assume no losing days — which is why the real figure lands at the slower end for almost everyone.
After you pass
On Pay After Passing you only pay the activation fee once the account has actually passed, then the funded account is issued. Rewards are paid in USDT and every one of them is published with its transaction ID on the reward ledger, so you can check payment times yourself instead of taking our word for it.
What to do with this
Pick a daily return you can actually repeat, size for the 4% daily limit, and let the target take as long as it takes. Nothing is counting down. You can start an evaluation from $5 and trade it at whatever pace suits your strategy.
